St. Bridget Knights of Columbus Council 12285 - the fraternal organization of men serving the church parish with physical and spiritual needs. The KCs meet on the 4th Wednesday of the month in the Community Life Annex. The organization is open to Catholic men aged 18 and above. For more information, email Council 1285 at [email protected].
The Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court of St. Bridget of Sweden 2461 - The Catholic Daughters of the Americas (CDA) is one of the oldest and largest organizations of Catholic women in the Americas. The CDA motto is “Unity and Charity.” The local organization sponsors different fundraisers to raise funds to support charitable causes during the year. Members enjoy each other’s company at meetings and work hard for the parish, state organizations, and national organizations. Meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm in the Community Life Annex. Membership is open to Catholic women aged 18 and above. St. Vincent de Paul Society - Members of the St. Vincent de Paul Society are men and women who strive to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to individuals in need. The St. Vincent de Paul Society helps with rent and utility payments to people in need living within the St. Bridget Church boundaries. Matthew 25- Volunteers for this ministry serve others in the time of a natural disaster. The Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux asks churches to form a Matthew 25 committee. St. Bridget Matthew 25 team is forming now. Contact the Church Office at 985-446-6801 for more information.
